NZ Corrosion Services Ltd Health, Safety & Environment policy statement

It is the policy of the Company to promote and maintain a healthy and safe place to work and to protect its staff from injury, harm, illness and our property from accidental damage or loss. The Company commit to providing and maintaining a healthy and safe work environment in compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act 2015 and all other relevant health and safety legislation.

• Management comply with all relevant health and safety legislation, standards, codes of practice and other identified good practice.

• An effective and valuable induction program for all new staff provides adequate training regarding site specific hazard identification, risk assessment, hazard control management, contractor management, and emergency/evacuation procedures.

• Continual supervision and training for all staff to ensure they maintain a high level of competency to safely perform their work duties.

• We are committed to looking after people, environment, assets and reputation.

• Communicating and ensuring that every worker is aware of the expectation to act safely at all times, to abide by the Health and Safety at Work Act 2016 regulations.

• We support and encourage staff consultation and participation in health and safety matters.

• Management demonstrate a high level of commitment to continuous improvement of NZ Corrosion Services health and safety performance.

• Effective emergency and evacuation practices and procedures are in place in accordance with current legislative requirements.

• Management monitor compliance and effectiveness annually of its health and safety and policies, procedures, manual and registers.

• Management provide and maintain facilities for staff' health and safety while they are at work.

• There is a systematic method for hazard identification, assessment and controls. In the event that there are any identified significant hazards, steps to eliminate and or minimise these hazards to prevent any injury, harm or damage will be immediately undertaken.

• Staff accurately report and record all workplace accidents, incidents, near misses, injuries or harm.

• Management support the safe and early return to work of injured staff.

• Management will provide and maintain a safe working environment where critical equipment is safe to operate.

• Management formally recognise any worker's excellence in health and safety management and innovation.

• Management will undergo a performance review against their health and safety responsibilities on an annual basis.

The responsibility for health and safety shall be adopted as an integral part of the the Company daily operations, therefore it is crucial that every worker is committed to eliminate unsafe acts and conditions by thinking and acting safely at all times.

This policy statement is reviewed annually for validity and any amendments communicated to all staff.
