PosiTector 6000 FHXS XtremeTM coating thickness gage for measuring coatings up to 400 mils (10,000 microns) thick in rugged environments, using magnetic principles to measure (Non-Magnetic) coating thickness on only ferrous metals, accurately and quickly.
Designed with an alumina wear face and braided steel cable, the PosiTector 6000 FHXS is ideal for measuring on hot or rough surfaces.
For typical paint and coating applications for a thickness range of 0-400 mils (0-10 mm) applied to Ferrous substrates models include 6000-FHXS1
